I hope you guys do know that Halloween is not only celebrated in the U.S.. Every culture and community on the globe has its own ways to enjoy this mysterious holiday. Here in Mexico, for instance there is a holiday that calls “Dia de los Muertos” or Day of the Dead. They also make time to reflect and pay tribute to beloved ones that have died. They make lovely altars, offering food and flowers to honor their spirits. There is a festival in China known as "Teng Chieh." People light lanterns to aid their ancestors in finding the way back home during this festival. What you get to do is repurpose it, wherever in the world you may be, Halloween is a time of light-hearted fun and celebration of life… that honours our dearly departed{returned}.
Always remember to go trick-or-treating with an adult, such as a parent or older brother/sister (Stay Safe) Stay on the sidewalks or in lighted areas and never go into a home of someone you don't know, even if it sounds like they have lots of candy.
Always have a backup plan : Because the weather is changing fast or plans are sometimes going to be different. This is exactly why it can only help to brainstorm on a back-up activity or place when they things take an unexpected turn.

If you need a simple activity for the kid's to include them on something Halloween related, they will love making creepy slime! This is a very simple and very fun project. You only need some glue, water and food coloring (and starch liquid). Combine glue and water in a bowl, then add food coloring until desired color is achieved. And slowly knead in the liquid starch until it turns into slime. We believe it will be a fun and creative activity for kids of all ages, this can keep them entertained & busy too!
Have you ever thought about from where does Halloween originate and how did it start? The holiday has a long and interesting history that goes back many years. The origins of Halloween date back to an ancient Celtic festival known as "Samhain". The festival marked the end of harvest and beginning autumn. It was common belief that during Samhain, the lines between our world and the spirit other-world were incredibly faint. So it was really easy for ghosts to cross over and go visit us. People would wear scary costumes and light bonfires to ward off any spirits roaming around. Halloween evolved, and somehow we ended up here with the tradition of trick-or-treating & carving a pumpkin!
